Galway United has renewed its multi-year partnership with Future Ticketing, securing the digital ticketing infrastructure that powered its recent temporary home fixtures. The deal is a vote of confidence in the technology that managed the club's move to Pearse Stadium and Salthill this summer.
Paul Leavy, Future Ticketing's Client Success Manager, said the experience of the Salthill Summer Series demonstrated the value of the long-standing relationship. "We are delighted that Galway United has entered into another multi-year partnership with us and we see it as a vote of confidence in our technology, our customer service and our understanding of what the club needs," Leavy said.
The club's existing digital system, which allowed season-ticket holders to use their passes at new venues and enabled easy ticket sharing through the Galway United app, proved critical during pitch development works at Eamonn Deacy Park. Sam O’Neill, Head of Commercial & Marketing at Galway United, said the platform is central to the club's goals. "The digital ticketing systems provided by Future Ticketing enable us to guarantee the best match day access experience for our supporters, while at the same time streamlining our administration and giving us an insight into what our fans really want," O’Neill said.
This renewal comes as Galway United sit seventh in the Premier Division with 38 points from 32 games. Their recent form has been mixed, with two wins, one draw, and two defeats in their last five outings, a sequence you can review on our standings page. The club is now poised to embrace the full suite of functionality from the Future Ticketing platform as it looks to build on-field consistency.
Looking ahead, the focus returns to league action with a trip to face Waterford on October 9th. The renewed partnership ensures that, whether at Eamonn Deacy Park or elsewhere, supporters will continue to enjoy paperless, instant access to matches as the club pushes forward with its modernisation plans.
