Galway United is set to host Dundalk at Turner's Cross on Friday, June 12. John Caulfield, the former Cork City manager, will bring his Galway United team to the Cross for the League of Ireland Premier Division match.

What's happening?

The match was originally scheduled to take place at Eamonn Deacy Park, but due to ongoing pitch upgrades, it has been moved to Turner's Cross. This will be one of four home matches that Galway United will play at alternative venues.

Why the change?

Galway United has been forced to change venues for four of their home League of Ireland Premier Division fixtures. Three of those games will take place at Pearse Stadium, the home of Galway GAA, while the match against Dundalk will be played at Turner's Cross.

What's next?

Galway United's trip to Tallaght Stadium to take on Shamrock Rovers has been rescheduled to kick off at 7:30pm on Friday, June 26. The match was originally set to start at 8pm.

Galway United's current league standing is 8th in the League of Ireland Premier Division, with 39 points from 36 games, and a recent form of DLDWW. Their last result was a 1-1 draw against Waterford on November 1, 2025.
